Agra: A case of government employee negligence has come to light in Uttar Pradesh. Tajnagari Agra is involved. Where the seventh wonder Agra Municipal Corporation has handed over the notice of 1 lakh 47 thousand outstanding Taj Mahal bill to the Archaeological Survey of India. 

According to the information, these bills were issued in the name of the Taj Mahal complex. However, according to the Archaeological Department of India, all monuments under the Archaeological Department are exempt from this tax. For the time being, it will be interesting to see what happens next in this case. Let us go over the matter.

A notice of approximately 1 lakh 47 thousand was sent

Let us tell you that the Archaeological Department officials are dizzy as a result of the negligence of government employees in Tajnagri Agra. This is due to the Taj Mahal, a protected monument, receiving tax notices one after the other. 

Let us inform you that the Agra Municipal Corporation has sent a notice to the Archaeological Department of India for a house tax bill of approximately 1 lakh 47 thousand rupees. In fact, the Agra Jalkal department sent a notice of outstanding tax of about Rs 1 crore 90 lakh two months ago. At the same time, the Cantonment Board issued a Rs 5 crore notice to the Agra Fort protected monument.

All the monuments under the Archaeological Department do not come under the purview of such tax

The Department of Archeology is currently sending a letter to all departments that have sent notices to request that the notices be returned. According to the Archaeological Department of Agra, all monuments under the Archaeological Department of India are exempt from this tax.

The Superintendent of the Agra Archaeological Department provided details

Dr. Rajkumar Patel, Superintendent of the Agra Archaeological Department, provided information in this regard. He stated that the Taj Mahal has no sewer or water connection. So, how was this bill delivered? He stated that this was the first time such a notice was sent. 

We have no budget for this because it has not happened in any other monument in the country. He informed the audience that all monuments had already been exempted from house tax. In such a situation, for what reason these notices have been sent, the concerned department should investigate.
